P1AR Advanced SAR Mission Night NVG Hoist Rescue Training

This ground/flight school training program meets and exceeds the training requirements of the FAA Federal Air Regulations (FAR) Part 133 Class D, EASA JAR OPS /CASA HHO, and Canadian Air Regulations (CAR) standards for Human External Cargo (HEC), operations training and will prepare pilots and operational personnel who are assigned to perform duties on board a helicopter or personnel who are carried externally by a helicopter to be competent to conduct Class D External Load operations in a safe and effective manner.

Activities are based on specific tasks and equipment that student participant may be responsible to perform during a helicopter rescue. Additional requirements:

• The student must be 18 years of age or older
• The student must be in good physical and medical condition
• The student must have adequate insurance coverage
• The student must have completed P1AR Basic SAR Hoist Training Course
• The student must have completed P1AR Advanced SAR Mission Night Unaided Hoist Rescue Training
• Subject to regulatory ITAR/Controlled Goods restrictions

Priority 1 Air Rescue’s Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Hoist Rescue Training Course is designed to be custom tailored to fit customer’s operational night mission requirements. The P1AR Night NVG Hoist Training Course encompass the most up-to-date technology, information, techniques and procedures for implementing Night NVG in a new or pre-existing aviation program. Training courses are customized and categorized according to the level of experience of the customer and the requirements of the customer to ensure that all aspects are completed safely and efficiently.

Upon successful completion course participants will have an Advanced level of capability and proficiency to enable them to operate the helicopter and ancillary equipment to respond to day missions within 15 minutes, to perform Night NVG SAR Hoist missions.

5 late afternoon and evenings

Class is comprised of Up to 4 pilots and Up to 4 rearcrew

• CLASSROOM – 1 Day and 4 late afternoon classroom briefings
• FLIGHT TRAINING – 4 Evenings
