SART/TAC Facilities
Priority 1 Air Rescue leverages over 23 years of expertise with our proven live flight training and actual operational mission experience, that is combined with the latest synthetic technologies (AAMS) in order to provide ab-initio to advanced mission training solutions making our SART/TAC programs more effective and reducing the associated helicopter cost, while increasing the safety of the aircrews and capability to train course participants.
Scenario based SAR/Tactical exercises, pre-deployment training, and mission rehearsals are also conducted using the AAMS where aircrews will perform relevant and challenging mission scenarios within highly realistic, diverse simulated environmental conditions, using the best helicopter hoist and aerial gunnery synthetic technology available supported by our experienced expert instructors.
Today effective mission training is not only accomplished by focusing solely on live flight training. Aircrew mission training can now be significantly enhanced and improved by employing ‘blended’ programs utilizing synthetic aircrew training and the use of virtual simulation with our Advanced Aircrew Mission Simulator (AAMS). P1AR employs a full spectrum of course and range of training methods including academic ground school, hands on equipment practice, virtual SAR/Hoist/Aerial Gunnery synthetic training, hoist/fast-rope tower practice, and pool training (for HUET, rescue swimmer) which can be completed at SART/TAC prior to integrating live flight practice at the customers location.
Priority 1 Air Rescue operates two world-class Search and Rescue – Tactical Training Academies (SART/TAC) located in Mesa Arizona, and Bordeaux France, that are specifically suited to provide a full spectrum of Basic to Advanced Operational Mission Training Solutions for commercial, government, and military customers.
Classrooms are equipped with cutting edge instructional technology and training aids to include wireless interactive smart boards, student configured iPads, and other specifically suited training aids and devices.
